Congratulations!!!!!

Tom, a systems engineer on Kadena AB, has been coming to Live Music Bar JET for a little over one year and considers Honolulu, Hawaii home.

Live Music Bar JET is one of the locations chosen by promoters to be in an upcoming video for the local band B-Trippers. We still haven’t been informed of the release date of the video, but will let you know as soon as we get the info.

At the end of Saturday night, one of our regulars told me that there had been a “Best of…” vote earlier this year in the Stars and Stripes and that Bar JET was voted #1 in the live music category for Okinawa. We want to thank all of you who voted for us. We’re sorry that we didn’t thank you earlier, but we didn’t even know about the voting. I just wish I could find the article on the net, so I can show it to the band! I’m sure they would get a kick out of actually seeing in print that you think so highly of them. Again, thank you for acknowledging the effort they put into the music.

As of 17 June 2005 Live Music Bar JET will open at 8:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night. The band will start at 9 p.m. and end around 1:40 a.m.
