Penny is a familiar face at Bar JET. She has been coming to the bar since the beginning 12 years ago. Although she resides on Okinawa, her “home away from home”, Virginia is still holds a special place in her heart.

I upgraded the site to the new WordPress 2.0.1 today.  I’m sorry if that caused anyone complications.  Please let me know if you run into any bugs.  Thanks.

Alejandro is another of the atypical locals. He works at Camp Foster, calls Ginowan, Okinawa home, and has been coming to Bar JET for around 9 years.

For those of you who missed the JET interview last night, another prerecorded broadcast will be airing on Saturday, 28 January 2006, starting at 10:30 p.m. This one involves a phone interview with Taki directly from Live Music Bar JET by local celebrity host Cannon Matsuya. The topic is local nighttime “hot-spots” on AM channel 864, better known as Radio Okinawa (ROK) .
