Live Music Bar JET – We're Rockin' the Rock

For those of you who were at Bar JET towards the end of July, the “documentary” that was being filmed is supposed to be airing on NHK at 8:00 a.m. Sunday, 20 August 2006, according to the info told to Taki. For those of you who were not at the bar during the filming, here is some background info. NHK, the Japanese version of PBS, was filming the musicians of the local music scene in the Okinawa City area last month.

Brian who says he, “Loves the JET,” has been a welcome face for about the past two years.  He is currently stationed at MCAS Futenma and calls Elizabeth, Colorado home.

Another familiar face at Bar JET, Johnny has been coming to the club for the past three years and works at the AMC on Kadena AB. He considers Ginowan, Okinawa as home.
