Live Music Bar JET – We're Rockin' the Rock

For those of you who missed the JET interview last night, another prerecorded broadcast will be airing on Saturday, 28 January 2006, starting at 10:30 p.m. This one involves a phone interview with Taki directly from Live Music Bar JET by local celebrity host Cannon Matsuya. The topic is local nighttime “hot-spots” on AM channel 864, better known as Radio Okinawa (ROK) .

If you haven’t checked out the links to Guest Musicians and Visitors’ Photos recently, give it a look – new pix are added about twice a month. Who knows, maybe our camera captured you rockin’ down with JET!!!

No coal this year!!! Santa left a major present in our stocking, the much awaited for JET CD, “Rock ‘Till the Morning Sun”. The CD will be available at Bar JET beginning this Friday, 30 December 2005. Be safe and Happy Holidays!!!

Don’t forget to make room in your schedule for the upcoming annual Gate 2 Fest to be held on Turkey Day weekend on Sunday, 27 November 2005. The street will be bustling for most of the afternoon with all kinds of food and entertainment. However, Bar JET will not be open that evening.

Although Gate 2 Street will be active for the Okinawa City Kokusai Carnival scheduled on Sunday 6 November, 2005, Bar JET will not be open that night. JET will be off island. (see Oct 21 post).
